Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before purchasing or using the XZ Trader Expert Advisor ("EA", "Software"). By completing a purchase or activating a licence, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About XZ Trader

XZ Trader is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor that reads trade signals from a Telegram channel and executes them on your connected MT5 account. The Software is provided as a tool only. It does not constitute financial advice, investment management, or any form of regulated financial service.

2. Licence Grant

Upon successful payment, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Software on the number of MT5 accounts permitted by your subscription tier:

• Solo: 1 simultaneous MT5 account
• Trio: 3 simultaneous MT5 accounts
• Pro: 5 simultaneous MT5 accounts

You may not resell, sublicense, share, or transfer your licence or auth code to any third party. Each auth code is issued to a single purchaser for their own use.

3. IB Partner Licence

Users who register a live MT5 account under our designated Introducing Broker (IB) partner receive a free-for-life licence under the following conditions:

• The licence is valid only while the account remains under our IB partnership
• The EA will automatically disable if the account is moved to a different broker or IB
• No refunds are applicable to IB licences as no payment is made
• We reserve the right to withdraw IB licence availability at any time

4. Auth Code and Account Binding

Your auth code is verified against our licence server each time the EA starts and periodically during operation. The following rules apply:

• Each auth code may only be active on the number of accounts permitted by your tier
• Demo accounts and the MT5 Strategy Tester do not count against your connection limit
• One MT5 account number equals one connection slot
• Multiple currency pairs on the same MT5 account number count as one slot

5. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are recurring and billed in advance for the period selected at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method automatically at each renewal.

• Prices are displayed exclusive of VAT. UK customers will have 20% VAT added at checkout.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time via the billing portal — the EA continues to work until the end of the paid period
• If a payment fails, you will receive a 7-day grace period during which the EA continues to operate. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, access will be suspended.

6. Refunds

All sales are final. No mid-term refunds are provided under any circumstances, with the following exceptions:

• Technical failure: If the EA fails to install or activate within the first 7 days of purchase due to a verified fault on our end, a full refund will be issued on request.
• Extended outage: If our licence server is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours preventing EA operation, you may request either a pro-rata refund or an equivalent extension of your licence period.

Chargebacks filed with your card issuer will result in immediate and permanent termination of your licence and a ban from future purchases. We actively contest all fraudulent chargebacks.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software
• Use the Software on accounts you do not own or are not authorised to trade
• Attempt to circumvent the licence verification system
• Share your auth code with any other person
• Use the Software in any way that violates the terms of your broker or prop firm

8. Prop Firm Accounts

XZ Trader may be used on prop firm accounts. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of automated trading software complies with your prop firm's rules and terms. We accept no liability for account violations, rule breaches, or loss of funded accounts arising from the use of the Software.

9. Risk Disclosure

Automated trading involves substantial risk of financial loss. XZ Trader is a tool that executes signals — it does not guarantee profits, nor does it constitute financial advice. Past performance of any signal source is not indicative of future results. You trade entirely at your own risk. Please read our full Risk Disclosure before using the Software.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of defects. We expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Scots law, our total liability to you in connection with the Software shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for any trading losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your licence immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, file a chargeback, or use the Software in a manner we reasonably believe to be harmful or fraudulent. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account. Continued use of the Software after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
